I like both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and would be happy to see either one in the White House. As a humorist, I'd be thrilled to have the opportunity to make fun of either one for the next four years. In terms of humor, I have a slight preference for Clinton -- with Bill back in the White House as First Gent, there'd be no shortage of material.
My wife, on the other hand, has a strong preference for Clinton and it's not about gender. She explains it all in her blog post. Please tell her how WRONG she is. Unless you agree with her, of course.
I wonder why choosing Hillary over Obama would be a wrong choice! Her candidature seems stronger than the others for various reasons, as I've conveyed in the blog. You have added a very strategic perspective of how the role of the First Gent would benefit the content of the work of serious humorists. No 'Writer's Block' should snag a blogger from posting fresh thoughts, in such a case.
